Could you help us?

We have volunteering opportunities and you could be just the person to take part.

  • Can you mentor an adult with their basic skills?
    Support Assistant     – have you got time to spend an hour a week with an adult to help them with their literacy and/or numeracy skills?  We are looking for people confident in their abilities or who have had some  teaching experience to help people who want to improve their skills so that they can go back to work.
  • Do you have time to spare to interact with a young person on a one-to-one basis? Youth Mentoring – With the complete support of our Youth Project Manager, you will develop an easy-going social companionship with a young person, so they have ongoing support and someone to talk to in a friendly, informal capacity. We offer the chance to apply and train as a youth mentor every three months, so if you’re interested, contact us at the Centre to arrange an interview.
